What is Pedestrian Wind Comfort?

Pedestrian wind comfort refers to the evaluation of wind behavior to determine the effects of wind on pedestrians at ground level. This wind modeling assessment takes into account wind effects such as tunnel constriction or vortexing that, if not planned in advance, could be harmful or dangerous to those using or even near the facilities.
