The purpose of the Project is to calculate the behaviour of Tugboat Dry docking ship in lifting conditions by conducting finite element method. Lifting level is +2750 mm from theground. Finite element model is illustrated in Figure 1 and Figure 2 and loading conditions can be shown in Figure 3
Remote displacement boundary conditions were applied considering the loading scenarios on connection points and the weight 380 Tons was subjected to earth gravity.
As an advice it is important to overcome weak points by applying full penetration welding between the insert plate and the deck plate
